Recipes for Sombat's Pad Thai Sauce


Pad Thai Cooking Instructions (8 servings)
1. Soak 1 package in cold water for one hour, or until soft. Rice noodles usually come in 16 oz. packages from Thailand, which serves eight people.
2. Heat the frying pan until hot and add 8 Tbs. of vegetable oil. When the oil gets hot (about 1 minute or less), add 4-8 cloves chopped garlic and stir. Add four eggs and stir until eggs are cooked.
3. Add 1 lb. meat or tofu (or both) and stir until the meat is completely cooked.
4. Drain noodles and add to the mix in the pan. Stir-fry until noodles are translucent.
5. When noodles are soft, add 3/4 cup of Sombat’s Pad Thai sauce over all the ingredients in the pan and stir for 2 minutes.
6. Add bean sprouts, green onions and ground peanuts into the mix, and stir for one minute more. Ready to serve or put into a deli hot tray.
Note: If you would like a spicier taste, add hot chili peppers. If you would like a more sour taste, add lemon or lime juice.
Ingredients:
• 16 oz. dried rice noodles
• 8 Table spoons vegetable oil
• 4 eggs
Protein (choose one protein)
• 1 pound shrimp OR
• 1 lb. fried tofu OR
• 1 lb. chopped chicken or other meat
Vegetable
• 8 green onions cut into 1 inch pieces
• 4 cups of bean sprouts
• 1/2 cup ground roasted crushed peanuts


Barbecued Meat and Seafood
1. Rinse meat or seafood in clean water. Cut into strips or cubes and place into a bowl.
2. After shaking well, pour one bottle of Sombat's Fresh Thai Cuisine Pad Thai Sauce over meat. Mix well, cover bowl and let the mixture marinade for 2 - 8 hours. Longer time gives more flavor.
3. Barbecue as you normally would. Chicken and pork should always be barbecued until well done.

Variation: Seasoned meat and seafood can also be fried or cooked in an oven or microwave oven.

1 Bottle Sombat's Fresh Thai Cuisine Pad Thai Sauce
• 3 lbs. Meat or Seafood



Mixed Fruit Salad
1. Clean and chop all the fruit into 1/2 inch cubes and place into a large salad or serving bowl.
2. After shaking well, pour one bottle of Sombat's Fresh Thai Cuisine Pad Thai Sauce over the fruit. Mix well, cover bowl and let the mixture soak 10 minutes. Ready to serve.
Ingredients:
1 Bottle Sombat's Fresh Thai Cuisine Pad Thai Sauce
• 2 Cups Cubed Apples
• 2 Cups Cubed Pears
• 2 Cups Cubed Pineapple
• 2 Cups Green or Red Grapes


Pineapple Curry (2 Servings)
1. Clean and chop the pineapple and vegetables into bite sized pieces.
2. Rinse chicken in clean water and cut into stir fry sized pieces.
2. Heat the frying pan until hot. Pour 1/3 of coconut milk into pan and cook until boiling.
3. Add 2 teaspoons red curry paste and stir until well mixed. Add chicken and stir until half cooked (about 3 minutes)
4. After shaking well, add 1/3 Bottle of Sombat's Fresh Thai Cuisine Pad Thai Sauce. Mix well and cook for 3 more minutes.
5. Add the rest of the coconut milk, mix well while adding the pineapple. Mix well and boil for 3 more minutes.
6. Add the remaining ingredients, stir well for about 1 minute, serve hot over rice or noodles.
Ingredients:
• 1/3 Bottle Sombat's Fresh Thai Cuisine Pad Thai Sauce
• 2 tsps. Red Curry Paste
• 15 Fresh Basil Leaves
• 1 Can Coconut Milk (14 oz.)
• 1 lb. Chicken (boneless, skinless or any type you prefer)
• 1 Cup Fresh or Canned Chopped Pineapple
• 1 Cup Cubed Zucchini
• 1 Cup Cut Broccoli or any Vegetable You Prefer


Sweet and Sour Stir Fry (6-8 Servings)
1. Clean and chop the pineapple, mince the garlic and cut vegetables into bite sized pieces.
2. Rinse meat or seafood in clean water, cut as desired (leave shrimp whole).
2. Heat the frying pan until hot and add 2 Tbs. of vegetable oil. When the oil gets hot (about 1 minute or less), add 5 cloves minced garlic and stir until golden.
3. Add shrimp, or other meat, and stir for one minute. Add 1/2 bottle well shaken Sombat's Fresh Thai Cuisine Pad Thai Sauce. Add the rest of vegetables and bring to a boil.
4. Mix cornstarch or tapioca powder with cold water, stir until dissolved and pour into pan. Stir until stir fry thickens.
5. Serve hot over rice or noodles.

• 2 lbs. Shrimp, Meat or other Sea Food
• 1 Cup Fresh or Canned Sliced or Cubed Pineapple
• 1 Cup Fresh Cubed Cucumber (any variety)
• 1 Cup Sliced Carrots
• 1 Cup Sliced Celery
• 1 Cup Green Bell Pepper
• 1 Cup Chopped Yellow or Maui Onion
• 1 Cup Sliced Tomatoes
• 5 Cloves Fresh Garlic
• 4 Tablespoons Cornstarch or Tapioca Powder
